CBSSports.com ‏@CBSSports - Did you know? The last time James, Wade, and Bosh played against Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili was more than two years ago: March 2011

Am I the only one that thinks this will be a very interesting series? Playoff basketball is a game of match-ups more than anything, and while I want to look at the way the Spurs dominated the Grizzlies as an indicator of their success in this Finals, I don't think the two series are really comparable match-up wise.

I'll say Spurs in 5, just because of the way the Finals are set up as a 2-3-2 series (which is pretty stupid), but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if the Heat were able to steal a game in San Antonio and carry some momentum into Miami for a second title.

I'll definitely be rooting for the Spurs though. I mean, let's be real. The Heat are hard to like, and the Spurs are hard to not like.

Popovich with 10 days to game plan and his team resting up. Leonard is a good matchup on LBJ. Tony Parker is in a different class than any of the Heat points.

The Spurs don't lose finals series. Never have.

I wonder if LBJ will be on Tony Parker like Barkley suggested on TNT. I was surprised that LeBron didn't just let that suggestion roll off his back... he was more like, "good point." It's worked before...

They've also had home court advantage every time.

    Chalmers
    Wade
    Lebron
    Haslem
    Bosh

    Parker
    Green
    Kawhi
    Duncan
    Splitter.

Switch LeBron onto Parker and Chalmers onto Danny Green/Ginobli. Wade onto Kawhi Leonard.

I don't think Kawhi Leonard has the offensive game to consistently beat Wade in a "mismatch". Diaw won't be able to abuse Bosh/Haslem

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me to see a wade/lebron/battier/bosh/Anderson or Haslem lineup. Battier could matchup with Kawhi while LeBron and Wade get Ginobli and Parker. I don't know. If Duncan was still a defense monster, it would be different. Butttttttt...Popovich is a great coach. Just think talent + decent coaching will win this one.

Can we be honest and say that NO ONE is a good match up on LBJ. Leonard isn't close to stopping James, so stop with that line of thought. It will be interesting to see how the Heat defend Parker. They like to throw a quick trap on the PnR, but the Spurs are too good and move the ball too well for that to effectively work, so how will the Heat attack it? Overall I think it's Heat in six.

I'm looking forward to this one. I'll be cheering for the Miami Cavaliers this series. They have LeBron, who can score, and LeBron who is an awesome rebounder, and LeBron who can dish like nobody his size, and of course there's also LeBron's defense.

    Just look at these matchups:
    Parker vs LeBron
    Ginobili vs LeBron
    Leonard vs LeBron
    Duncan vs LeBron
    Splitter vs LeBron

The LeBrons have a mismatch at every LeBron, and frankly should LeBron this LeBron in 5 LeBrons or LeBron. On top of that, LeBron can LeBron LeBron LeBron, LeBron LeBron LeBron!

    LEBRON LEBRON, bro.

Seriously, though, I ain't even joking. It's practically a one-man team in Miami. Everybody loves to hate on them because they are trying to see this as Miami somehow going to get its just desserts in the finals by getting their ass kicked by the Spurs.

Myself, I love the idea of one guy going out there and basically destroying a dynastic team like the Spurs practically single-handedly. Is one guys really this damned good?

I've seen the Spurs win championships before, and yeah, they're a little different this year but it's basically the same old story.

I'm not really emotionally invested in either team. So I'm watching it mostly for the spectacle. Watching LeBron will this team to a championship is just much better TV than watching the Spurs do their thing once again.
