I still see Spurs winning, Tim Duncan does excellent in the playoffs and don't forget the last second man Robert Horry Plus with Tony Parker, Manu Ginboli,Nick Van Exel, and Michael Finley I think the Spurs have alot mroe depth than the Pistons
I think the Spurs play a lot better in the playoffs then they do in the regular season, so they might just have a chance. + both teams were beat by LAL so this might be a tiny factor in the weaker team.
The Spurs have more weapons than the Pistons do. But Rasheed Wallace could make a big difference from long range. Manu and Parker are two great guards and are sometimes underrated and overlooked. Rip Hamilton isn't all what everything says he is. I know he is a good player but I am not sure where he is in my book. But Billups is one great Point Guard and very unprdictable. Ben Wallace is not that good of a Center. I mean he is strong but he should get better stats.
Rasheed Wallace is nothing but a Joke and you totally forgot Tayshaun Prince who comes up big on Defense when the Pistons need him
Don't forget that Rasheed owns Duncan. It is strange but they seem to neutralize each other. Duncan has trouble guarding Rasheed while Rasheed is one of the best post defenders. San Antonio had trouble last year with a Pistons team that had no bench.
I think the Pistons will win this year if they play again. The pistons can score with alot more consistency than they could last year under the slow walk it up, pace they had. This year the team will get out and run, the players have more flexibilty to shoot shots, and is much more dangerous on offense than last year. Meanwhile, their defense hasn't changed hardly at all. They play the same mean defense that they have always played. I like the Pistons if they get to play the Spurs again.
The Spurs are playing in a tougher comference, with a very close record... Oh yea, Tim Duncan is ahving the worst year of his career. Once he gets back into 22 and 12 shape come playoff time, it's over.
Well, the Pistons have won both games between the two this year, one being by 15. The Pistons match-up well, especially if Tim's foot is still hurting. Rasheed really has his number. And now the Pistons will most likely have home court advantage in the Finals, and the Auburn Hills is a very tough place to play.
Detroit has lost that toughness, they cannot engage into a defensive battle like season. That went out the door when larry brown left If Duncan foot is hurting him then Detroit can win but a healthy duncan will mean the spurs win. Detroit's bench is very weak, they traded their back up pg and hunter cannot back up Billups properly now.Spurs in 6.
Spurs are much better IMO. Way deeper, better role players, and they have the best player from either team (Duncan).

They are still a very tough and hard defensive team, they only let up 90 points per game. The difference is, that this year they actually use that defensive toughness to their advantage on the offensive end. When Larry Brown was the coach, he would have the team slow it down after getting defensive rebounds and turnovers, and have them play a half court game. Under Saunders, the team will use their defensive toughness on the glass, making blocks, and getting turnovers, to get out and run.
There still a good defensive team but latley their D has disappeared. I don't see them engaging into a defensive battle like last season. The spurs can beat them in an offensive game [ask the suns]. They can also beat them in a defensive game.Again their bench is depelted.
Delk, Evans, Delfino, and Mcdyess is a much better bench than they had last year. Flip just chooses not to play them a lot. Anyways the starters on the pistons are better than the spurs starters and in the playoffs that is important since the the rotations are usually down to 7 or 8 players.
