Spyware/Antivirus

    I just recently got hit by a serious virus and some spyware a couple of days ago. I also managed to find another 9 other viruses and loads of other spyware. So far I haven't had the problem I was having. I think the scans worked.

    Anyway, which spyware/antivirus programs do you use? Any decent recommendations?

    I forgot to mention if anyone has had any problems. Particularly with homepage hijackers!

    I've been running McAfee VirusScan for 10 years now. www.mcafee.com.

    If you go with McAfee, I highly recommend going for the subscription service and bundling with their Personal Firewall software as well.

    I have the McAfee Firewall and another product called the McAfee "Stinger." It's an antivirus program that was supposed to get rid of a certain virus I had. It didn't work though. The "Ewido Security Suite" did though. In fact it found and got rid of 9 other virus' and it found a whole load of spyware that Ad-Aware and other Spyware scanners couldn't find. It's great, it checks for virus' and spyware and it quarentines them aswell! I suggest everyone gets it:

    Im using ZoneAlarm Pro as my Firewall. Its works great. It also now comes with SPYWARE killer! It works great. My computer never runs slow.
