St. Louis is very defensive minded, just like the Detroit Red Wing who came into the Garden
and Rangers were robbed of a W by their goalie. Look for the same type game. The Blue to watch
is Tarasenko. For the Rangers it will be interesting to see if Kreider & Co can make any dents in their net. Go Rangers.

Nice start but i feel like with the pps it should be at least 3-0. St Louis does have a solid pk. Hopefully McDonagh is ok, this team seems to be cursed with eye. mishaps.

4-0. So good to see the PP actually scoring this year.

Rangers flat out have a terrific offense with the speed and the skill and while typing this the amazing vesey just got his 2nd assist with a goal to make it 5-0. PP looks great and the defense hasn't been bad. I'd still like trouble but if I'm gorton I'm in no rush to overpay as with this offense the defense appears better as the puck is spending so much time in the offensive zone. Kreids looks real good again ands quietly nash is nash again and the trade nash talk has disappeared for the moment

lol...mel. We all know Nash plays well in the regular season whenever he wants to. The question always with him is can he step up in the playoffs?

Tremendous all around tonight. PP converted 2. 0 goals allowed. balanced scoring. Couldn't ask for a better start to the season.

Could not be happier to give Girardi props after being down on him, so far he's been solid. Joe Mich explained AV's system best, dman gets puck and immediately gets rid of it, the days of pinning the puck against the boards and kicking it to the blue line are gone. As long as the dmen follow this formula and get the puck to their 4 talented lines they are very tough to stop. CK has shown why talks of trading him in his primadonna days were premature and JT has gone from doghouse to leading the team in scoring. Gorton has to be in consideration for GM of the Year. 4th in the NHL in shots per game, 7th faceoff win%.

Moron Milbury hates the Rangers. He was praising Tampa and Pitt. He still thinks this is last season. He doesn't realize each year teams are different.

We get some predictions right and wrong. I remember saying Miller would be a bigger, faster, version of Cally. Got that one right.

Some players need to be in the doghouse to turn themselves into better players.
Miller is one....kreider probably is another

I know Stepan is very well liked in the organization and it's still early but I am getting tired of his act. I would like to see what he can bring back in return. I think he may have a very good value around the league right now. His contract might be an issue, though.
