This is a medical issue and is personal and confidential to Jerry Stackhouse and the Mavericks, but as a fan I am being left in the dark. Surely the players and coaches know the truth about his knee and for the reasons stated and others will not talk about it, but with stud Howard out probably until mid-January when he's regained the same basketball fitness and rhythm level, it has to be asked whether or not Jerry Stackhouse will play basketball for Dallas this year; or should he have surgery because chronic inflammation in the knee is caused by a defect, from wear and tear or injury, and if he has it now without having played a game then he is going to have it all year. I was hoping this was just a sprain like Duncan had his 2nd year and just needed rest. May be Stack needs surgery, alot of rest, or both. Would love any info. from someone whose seen him on the court this year.
