Let's all thank Stanford for finding an offensive pulse last week and double quacks for the Beavers who tripped over their tails on cue yet again.

So now the cage is being built for win or take all title fight in Autzen. We win and the north is ours, they win and they just wont!

What makes this game any different from last year? Stanford lost a ton on the O Line and playmakers too. Let's not understate the massive guys and talent they lost on that O line. On D they lost LB's and D lineman yet that hasn't seemed to effect their overall nasty disposition on that side of the ball and their D is very very GOOD!!!

So how do we attack for the win.....

    1. Marcus is healthy, again MARCUS IS HEALTHY and that may be all the difference needed!!

    2. I like our receivers, Carrington has some of the best feet I've seen in college. He's NFL foot placing on most catches. Stanford is a secondary nightmare with his height, and Allen can't be left anywhere with a 5 yard head start or it's over. X factor and we all saw it, Marshall. He's a physical RB that can catch and that is not what a LB likes to deal with in the flat.

    3. When all else get's checked off, ask the Pharaoh and he shall deliver. If he can just remember not to celebrate after 60 yard pickup he could be a major major weapon on Saturday.

    4. I know many of you were wondering what about Rolls? Hmmmm.... You know damn well Stanford will be loaded for bear in the box and our running game may be predicated this game by the pass. If we establish a pass early and often Stanford's D will have to lay up and then it's time to Stanford, Stanford! Right up the damn middle! I look forward to seeing Stanford getting a taste of their own medicine north to south.

    5. Notre Dame nor USC has the weapons we have offensively and Stanford knows it. Stanford may stack the box but do they have the height in the secondary to take all our physical and tall receivers away? The big key is how healthy is our O line? If Marcus has time Stanford is toast! Our O line will win the game on Saturday, they must make the holes for Freeman and keep Marcus upright.

    Now about our D!

Is Armstead playing? Will we play prevent D in our secondary and give a very average Hogan all day to create a rhythm with his receivers? Will Pellum study game film and figure out that if Hogan is pressured he's a slightly more athletic less accurate version of Mannion! It's okay to bring the house Pellum and often cause we have a very good secondary and Hogan will make tons of mistakes that will play into their strengths. Pellum needs to fully get that Stanford is a team you don't want to play behind to. So spotting them two quick prevent defense td's is not a smart flipping thing to do! Their defense is their offense! This game to me is Pellum's job security game and he better plan for it accordingly.

I'm also interested to see if Tyner will show up and where Wogan is. A great kicking game in this one needs to happen.

I for one think Stanford will come in thinking this is their bowl game so we better be prepared!

Ducks win 42-17! This game will be personal for Marcus!

Man, I hope you guys pull it off and get into the playoff. Until you beat an SEC team, they'll keep getting garbage like 8 of the Top 15 or whatever it was. And you can't beat one until you get into a playoff.
