    Stanton 0-6 in a game where everyone walked and got on base. Such trash.

    Here's Boone's latest BS spin on Stanton's gaffe;

    ===========================

    Aaron Boone got a chance to watch the replay of Giancarlo Stanton’s uninspired base running in the third inning of Saturday’s 3-1 win over the Astros, and the Yankees manager saw what everybody else did.

    “Wasn’t a great look,” he said before the Bombers’ 9-7 loss to the Astros on Sunday afternoon in The Bronx. “But nothing other than him just making sure he doesn’t put himself in a dangerous position with the amount of things he’s had lower-body wise the last several years.”

    =============================

    If Stanton can't run any faster than that, he has no business in the line up or on the roster.

    His batting stance is awkward and off balance. He chases the ball with his wrists rather than use of his entire upper torso. Every time I see his stance and that bad habit I cringe, especially when an RBI is needed. I've been following the O's. Whoever their batting coach is, he should be congratulated.

    That's true. He's pretty much all upper body which leads me to believe his legs are shot. The problem is he pretty much can only get pitches left out over the plate.

    Jeter is probably still chuckling about fleecing Cashman on the deal that sent Stanton from the Marlins to the Yanx.
