FUCKING LOVING IT! The casting, the story, the cameos, the callbacks, just so much fun! Anyone else watching this?
I am. It's by far the best season of the Picard series. I've told people (who are fans, but just haven't watched it or don't have paramount), to avoid seasons 1 and 2, and just skip to season 3. The only thing you'll miss out on is how Picard is a Spoiler android now . But i hope they secretly have it that Q fixed it in season 2 (which btw, they totally dropped the ball on including Q).
I started watching it on the advice of a friend and really got hooked, but because of my squirrel brain, I stopped watching it and just haven't started it up again. I know once I get back into it, I'll binge the hell out of it.
My wife and I are watching it. It’s been fun. We’re a little disappointed in the episode where Riker gets command and ends up in conflict with Picard. Seemed pretty out of character given their long history together. I could have done without the space squid too.
Hey, if you have Paramount + you have to watch The Offer. Such a fun and true miniseries. Seriously, you and your wife will love it!
We watched that. It was good, but I thought it wasn’t as strong as previous seasons. 1883 and 1923 are both great.
Yup. Great ending to the series. The destruction of the Borg does leave a bit of an apparent conflict with the Borg stuff in the Discovery series, but I suppose that can be explained away. Anyway, it was nice to see the Next Generation crew get to fly off into the sunset together…or wherever space geezers go to retire.
