Starbury (56K Killer)

My first attempt at a Starbury wall, and my first grunge attempt. Tell me what ya think?

 

i like that text what is it? overall i like just dont like the white stroke thing around the marbury pic thats black. 9.5/10

 

Wow... the only thing I am liking here is the background. Steph in the background looks a little weird, the cut out is bad with the outlines around it and the text... I don't think the font goes with it and the text color is hard to read. 5/10.

Outlines around the cut-out are supposed to be there. It was no accident. The text is supposed to blend in too. But, thanksf or teh feedback. You're a good designer so I'll keep these in mind.

 

Ooh. Well the outlines look a little... weird? I dunno. It looks like it was a mistake or something. *Shrug* I didn't know that was intentional. All I was saying about the text is that it's a little hard to read and kinda blends in with the bg.

 

Aight, well I'll change the font color... And should I keep the cutout and remove the edges or just have the original pic (Full color instead of the black image)?

 

I like your others more. I can barely read any of it. And Marbury's mouth is really akward looking. I just think it is also way too bulky in a certain way.

I like this one ALOT better. But change that font, lol. I'm still not a fan of it. =p

 

I finally I found a wallpaper that I cannot make a negative comment about, I love it and the revision makes it a 10/10, good job.

 

Thanks man. Glad you really like it. Yea, the newer version looks much better, IMHO.

 

Its tight I like the first and second one..I like the first because the outline of Starbury looks like it could be the next NBA logo IMO.

 

The text doesn't go with the theme of the wall and starbury is just floating there in thin are put him on the ground and it'll look alot better.I'm not feeling this grunge though 7/10.

 

I actually like the first wall, except for the black outline. I'd say remove it entirely and just keep the grunge theme throughout.. imo you dont really need a focal point if it's meant to be a background anyway.

I agree except I'm giving it a 6/10.

 

Well here's one without the Main Marbury pic. Just blending and the text.

 

I like that much better Perhaps try it with the black font w/ blue stroke (like in the original version)? Just an idea though.

I'd give that a 9 either way

 

First: 6/10
Second: 7/10
Third: 7.9/10
