Parker (SA - PG) SF L. Deng (Chi - GF) PF K. Garnett (Min - F) F C. Webber (Sac - PF) C T. Ratliff (Por - FC) C J. Magloire (NO - C) Util D. Christie (Sac - SG) Util M. Daniels (Dal - GF) BN A. Mourning (NJ - C) BN C. Ward (Hou - PG) IL A. HoustonIL (NY - SG)
I wouldn't do either trade. Marbury and Cassell will probably have similar assist totals but Marbury will have more steals and pts. Cassell is an efficiency beast but u have some nice big men who improve ur percentages anyway. You seem to lack a SG since Lenard is out for a while, maybe a move for a good SG will be necessary. Andre Miller is a nice player but jrich is struggling for minutes and mike miller has chronic back problems.
Definite no. I agree with drunkenelmo on most of his points. Cassell seems to be having injury problems and always starts off cold, and you'd be getting him while he's still working out the kinks. On the other hand, Marbury is very consistent, a 20 point, 8 assist guy who plays big minutes every night, even if on a bad team. A. Miller is good for steals and assists, but I think that Parker will have a better year this year than Miller. J-Rich would fill a nice hole for you, but he's struggling early on too, and isn't worth as much as Marbury. Miller-Deng is a push. Thus, no on that trade too. Consider a counter-offer though to see if you can get J-Rich without Marbury, though I doubt it would happen, it's the best time because his value is lowest while he's struggling.
