Ok, so here is a list of injured starters for the Vikings as I can remember:

    CB Ken Irvin - IR
RB Michael Bennett - Back Week 5
RB Moe Williams - Back week 3????
    TE J. Wiggans - 3-5 weeks???
    TE J. Kleinsasser - IR
    OL Rosenthal - IR

I know I am missing someone, but losing two tight ends, especially with one of them being Kleisasser who is hands down the best blocking TE in the league, and losing Rosenthal as well as Irvin, what is going to happen to the purple?

On a good note, Mixon is back this week. So at least we are finally gaining a starter.

Doesn't look good VF. Anymore, its not always the talent level on the team that makes it deep into the playoffs....its the injury situation. At least its happening now instead of December?!?!?

At least the excuse is out now in case that actually happens. Wow, I wonder what would happen to this town if that actually occured. There would definitely be rioting on the streets.

The problem with these injuries is they are going to last until December! I know it is good that it is happening now so that we can get used to new players, but if it happened late, at least we could blame the loss on the injuries.

I know have a new resentment for the Cowboys since they were the ones to take out Kleinsasser, one of my favorite NFL players

The more people that hate the cowboys, the better the world is. Hate them VF, hate them with a passion just like the rest of us do. Start Chanting

    COWBOYS SUCK, COWBOYS SUCK!!!

And when you are done, then you can realize that you should just convert to be an Eagles fan. Jump on the wagon now, while you still can. Start singing the song

    Fly Eagles Fly....

You know the rest, you heard it plenty on MNF

It is obvious you have no faith in your vikings. It is time to come to the dark side of the force, join me now and watch my bears destroy any and all opposition.

I urge you all to read my post on "God a Cheesehead" where I conclude that even God is a Vikings fan.

Ok, time to add to the list of injuries:

    Marcus Robinson
    Matt Birk
    E.J. Henderson
    Chris Claiborne

We will get some back, but this is not turning out to be a good start for the Vikes.

Looks like Birk, EJ, and Claiborne will be back for texas, along with Bennett, and possibly still O.Smith. Oh, and maybe even Wiggins.

This is really good news. I am extremely happy to have these guys back. Tice says that he feels pretty good coming out of the bye. I just hope Bennett is able to see the holes like Smith did.

I share your concern. He's always had the speed, it's been his vision that was the problem. He also is tackled rather easily. Also, if you think about it, he hasn't really played in over a year. It might take 3-5 games before he is effective. I really hope not, but gosh... the dude just needs to play a game and not get hurt, I guess that's the first step [IMG] Baby steps onto the field, baby steps to the backfield, baby steps to the end zone... piece of cake!

Yeah, and that pesky left shoelace. He looks like he is going to break a big one, then he trips and falls.
