According to ESPN, we are 19th in defensive rankings and 7th in Offense. I think our defense will improve, but I think the points in the paint will always be a problem. The only reason why I believe this is that Stotts is working his defense to cover the perimeter mainly and uses man on man coverage down low. Occasionally, he will throw a few zones, but our bigs must try and contain the other team's bigs single coverage.

    DEFENSIVELY:
1.) Team Differential, which we are 7th.
2.) We are 12th in rebounding
3.) Tied for 6th on rebounding differential (The real stat).
4.) 2nd in allowed assists per game
5.) 7th in Turn over Differential.

    OFFENSIVELY:
    1.) 7th in PPG
    2.) 5th in FGM
    3.) 11th in FG%
4.) 10th in Points per Shot
    5.) Tied for 4th in Adjusted FG%.
    6.) 7th in Assists
7.) 5th best in turn overs.

The key Stat is Assist/TO ratio, which we are 4th best in the league.

Looking at the entire picture, our team is looking pretty solid. Maybe not "World Beaters", but moving in the right direction. Hopefully with more games and better synergy, Many of these "key stats" will improve!

    GO BLAZERS!
