Donte Stallworth is hoping to get more then Todd Pinkston's carrer high of 8 TD's when he becomes the New Eagles's wide reciever. The Philly-hopeful are hoping that he becomes the new #1 option for the Eagles, but the stats show a far scarier version of Stallworth. He's only caught 23 TD's on a 4 year basis and many people blame it on injury. But when I took the time to study Stallworth in 13 games played, he caught 8 TD's. The very next year he plays at an incompetent low catching 3 TD's, what does that show you about the new #1? Or how about this? The last 2 seasons Donte Stallworth played 2 full seasons. The result? A combined 12 TD's. He has Todd Pinkston all over him, which is ridicilious considering he was a first rounder. Touchdowns aside, Donte Stallworth to his credit pretty much had a succesfull carreer. He had nearly racked more then 1 thousand yards in 2005 and there are only 2 occassions he hasn't reached 600. If Donte Stallworth can help move the chains, it'll be a very productive trade for sure. Just don't expect big time numbers out of a WR that can't even beat the 8 TD limit he set for himself. Another telling statsitic, before I wrap this up, is that he never played below 10 games in his carrer. The lowest was 11 games. 11 Games, 3 TD's, ridicilious.

Joe Horn was the number one reciever for the entire time Stallworth was there. Also, Jerome Pathon used to get a lot of catches too because the Saints spread the ball around. How can you say a guy can't be a first option on offense based on his past stats when he has never been a first option during his NFL career?
Regardless, Donte has been brilliant for us so far in the season. Sim and a 4th round pick for Donte is a HUGE steal, no matter how you look at it
