    Something like this happened in Minnesota a while back with some kid who wore a Favre jersey to school.

    I'd expect mistreatment from kids, but not from a teacher. I'm surprised the Principal has the teacher's back on this. I would have thought for sure that the teacher would get canned outright.

    Then again who knows how bad it really was. You can't look at a kid the wrong way with out the "authorities" getting involved.

    Maybe he was like Jake Plummer and just folded under the pressure.

    i hate stories like these. people need to learn how to take a joke, even if it goes too far.

    I think the little baby needs to grow up. I'm sure it was just good natured teasing. Now, that teacher will probably never be able to cut up with his students anymore. Congrats kid! You got your picture in the paper and made school just a little more boring.
