They trade up for Santonio Holmes. I think it was a great move seeing that Randle El is gone and they could easily get a RB in the 2nd round. I honestly didn't think they would have taken LenDale anyway.

Yeah I really like this pick, although I thought they'd take Michael Robinson outta Penn State to fill the Randle El spot. I think that Santonio is more of a natural w/ the WR spot than Randle El and he will fit well into their system, but will not be as good when it comes to gadget plays.

You should've let a steelers fan posted this or i would later, your no steelers fan [IMG] jk, i dont mind u posting this at all. Yeah im loving the fact about Santonio Holmes, hopefully he'll be great on our franchise, dunno about drafting a running back, we already lost our 4th round pick so we gotta wait until later so we'll see.Anthony Smith - Was hoping we could get Darnell Bing but i guess not, I hope this kid can learn so he can step up when we need him to.Willie Reid - Solid pick i guess, im actually surprised we got another WR. Stay tune for tomorrow [IMG]

Santonio Holmes was a good move. After losing Randel El the Steelers needed another WR who was at least capable of starting and thats exactly what they got. Holmes brings a speedy, deep ball capability similar to Randel El's style of play. For those of you with worries about the Gadget plays I wouldnt worry. Hines Ward was a college quarterback himself and definately could make a throw or two if needed to. The plays where Randel El would throw the football would likely become Ward to Holmes instead of Randel El to Ward and the Reverses Santonio Holmes has plenty enough speed to pull off.I think the only mistake the Steelers made today was neglecting to address the RB position in some way. If they are counting on Duce Staley to take the load off of Willie Parker next season then they are in trouble.

Great move getting Holmes. He should be a better pure reciever than Randle El was, but he's not going to be near as veritile as El though.

Good first day, we have taken care of the issue with El by drafting Holmes and Willie Reid from FSU is a stud athlete at kick and punt returner. More than likely Reid will be our returner. As for the second day, I didn't agree with the Omar Jacob pick. We do need another QB for depth but he is so unploished. The best pick of the second day so far is DT Orien Harris from Miami, he could rotate with Hampton and give us some nice depth and help up front. We have one more pick, I hope we take a linebacker.

Yeah I agree with Omar Jacobs because he is too good to be a backup Quarterback so i wish he could play somewhere else so he can earn his way up. But IDK, oh well.
