<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Steelers players receive team's fifth Super Bowl ringAssociated PressPITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are giving the thumbs-up to their fifth Super Bowl ring. The team earned the long-sought "one for the thumb" after beating the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL in Detroit in February."It's a beautiful ring," right tackle Max Starks said Sunday at a ring presentation ceremony at Heinz Field. "It's a lot more than I expected."Team owner Dan Rooney, retired running back Jerome Bettis and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger designed the yellow gold ring, which features five diamond Vince Lombardi trophies surrounding the Steelers' logo on the front. One side features a player's name and number; the other shows the 21-10 score and the numeral XL.Bettis persuaded Rooney to include the previous victories."He didn't want the other championships to overshadow this one," Bettis said. "I wanted to let him know that it was important that the other ones be involved because we had to live under that shadow. Now instead of us being separated, we're part of that family."As a player walking by those four trophies every day, I wanted to include those into this," Bettis said. "It's part of the history and we're part of it. We wanted to feel part of it."Bettis said he can't wait to wear his ring as a host for NBC's Sunday night football program. The ring will give him instant credibility as a commentator, he said.Only two other franchises have five Super Bowl rings, the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2470961

Steelers have a much better chance going back to the big game for the AFC next year than do the Pats... in any case though, the Redskins are going to beat the AFC team :ninja:

Well lets see, the Pats have one of the most dangerous's offense in the NFL and have the 2nd easiest scheldue in the NFL. Behind, Dallas. Both teams that yahoo picked in the superbowl.

It's not over, 3 out of 5 isn't bad. As long as we have Belichick and Brady we are fine.

Just face it, like GotSkillz52 mentioned, your dynasty is over, quite frankly your dynasty was a whole joke lol. Doesn't matter what Yahoo says because that doesn't mean you're gonna win 11-12 games or what, this is a whole new season. Your defense gonna suck this year, especially your secondary and you don't even know if your offense will be the same since you lost some good key-players Ps: Santonio Holmes will be better than Chad Jackson

Winning 3 out of the 4 superbowls is a joke, winning 21 games in a row is a joke? Wow didn't know that. And I put the WR comparision, just to show everyone on this site Jackson will be better then Holmes.

Oh, yeah? We'll see because it gonna be great when S. Holmes put up better numbers than C. Jackson. And your 21 game winning streak doesn't really mean anything, pretty funny we ended it LOLAt least we have more rings than the pats HA.

So there is absolutely nothing wrong with including the past trophies on the ring...if nothing else, tell your grandkids you won all them trophies.

I'm picking the Steelers to make it back to the Super Bowl because I don't see a reason why they couldn't do it.
