Notebook: Harrison wouldn't mind playing for BrownsBy Joe Bendel and Kevin SmithWednesday, February 1, 2006Backup linebacker James Harrison, who is a restricted free-agent after this season, said he wouldn't mind playing for the team he grew up rooting for -- the Cleveland Browns -- if the opportunity ever presented itself. A native of Akron, Ohio, Harrison was asked if it would bother him if he left the Steelers to play for their arch-rival in Cleveland."No, it wouldn't," he said. "That's closer to home. I'm the youngest of 15, and I like being around my family." hmmm... http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-re...//s_419258.html
If he did I would miss his intensity but I hope he doesn't even though I feel we have other solid backups at the linebacker position.
If the Browns sign him I think he should start. He's a good player. Too bad he couldn't really start for our team because our starters are just so good. I'm glad he could step up for us when Haggans was down this year.
He has a big playmaking capability and I think the Browns would be lucky to have him on their squad. He had a big game in that Monday Night game vs. San Diego.
He's a great player, and I really hope he doesnt go to the Browns for 2 reasons..1: They're the Browns..I hate 'em2: He'd be in our division and we'd play him twice a year
I think Harrison is a real dumbass to wanna play for the Browns especially after the Steelers are way better. I think the only reason he would want to move to CLE is money.

I didn't see anything about the title of this thread saying:"SMACK WELCOME"Smack is anything but welcome. You can't handle beeing in this forum - then show yourself out.
We aren't really talking trash, so who cares if were talking on your board, were just stating it would be nice that James Harrison play for your team, not that hard to understand..
He'd be a good fit in Cleveland. I think that a young a growing team like the Browns would be a good team for him to go to.

Let me give you an example:"I think Harrison is a real dumbass to wanna play for the Browns especially after the Steelers are way better. Browns aren't bad.. okay they are bad but they are rebuilding. Anyone can see that, there's no sense in bashing them when even they know they have many flaws and look to fix some of them via free agency or the draft like every rebuilding Franchise does.Every team has to go through it sometime. So Mr. I'm a Panthers fan but I hopped on the Steeler bandwagon, don't diss the Browns. The guy wants to play for the team he grew up rooting for. His family lives there, sure he'd make some big money if he went there but that's one of many reasons he wants to.
