...as the Warriors snapped a 9 game losing streak. And he did it in Baron's face.

Kid's a stud. I'd like to see them rest Monta for a while. See how the team does with Curry running the show. No reason to rush Monta back at this point and he could use some rest.

Yeah, what if we find out that our "make-it-up-as-we-go-along" offense works better with Curry circulating the ball. The guy has terrific instincts for a rookie. He certainly made everyone better tonight.

I'm happy for Steph. I watched several of his college games, and all people could talk about was his shooting, which I don't blame for doing since he does it so well. But I disliked the fact that noone ever mentioned his passing game. The kid has good vision and is a pretty damn good passer.

Again, can't help but be happy for him. He looked so embarrassed at the end of the game lol

An impressive line. I totally underestimated him coming into the league. He's quickly becoming one of my favourite players.

One thing I have to say is that the Warriors look a lot better without Maggette, as a team, and frankly they look better when Monta is out, too. They played so much more like a team with Curry at the helm. The reason, I think, is because Mags and Monta are just ball hogs. Curry has the ball a lot, too, but it's totally different. He's like a Nash or a Chris Paul, they have the ball a ton, and shoot a lot too, but it's all because they constantly make plays for their teammates, and their teammates have fun playing with them.

Mags gets the ball a lot but dosen't really make anyone else better. In fact, he makes things worse. But even Monta, lately, has been hogging.

I really just liked watching the team in Curry's hands. He's the man.

Maggette has worked hard this year. He's got phenomenal stats but someone needs to make him watch a tape of when he brings the ball up vs. when Curry brings the ball up. Maggette = 1 option, Maggette; Curry = 4-5 options.

Curry is my guy, I loved it when they picked him and I love it now. If we're going to have a losing team, I'd rather root for the dude with no Tats with a solid loving family who is polite and humble, the guy who is truly a distributor, who can make the others around him better. Let's not forget, he's 6'4" too, not 6'. Imagine, they picked Thabeet, Flynn, Rubio, and Evans before him. He's going to be the CP3/Deron Williams guy that people passed up.

    Yep.

Also, of course, the team won't be shooting 62% every night, and it was the Clippers. However, I don't feel it was just a fluke, either. There's a reason why the team shot so well -- they took terrific shots! There were 36 assists on 49 made buckets, with lots of swinging, skip passing, moving without the ball, unselfish play... in other words, good basketball. I love Monta and he's a magician with the ball, but he doesn't necessarily set people up all that well. Last night, even guys like Turiaf and Tolliver got to gel and have some fun together, because the ball was moving the way it should.

Oh, don't forget, Morrow had 26pts, 10 reb, 6 ast, so that was pretty sweet too!

The difference that I see between Monta/SJax and Curry/Baron is that Monta may get assists but they are the ones where they are the initiator and at the bucket they make a sweet dish. A large part of their assists come from great passes.

Curry and Baron will make those plays but they also understand that it does not have to be a great pass, instead of shooting when you get a pass, you can get a good shot just from making that extra pass to the guy on the weak side for an open jumper.

I would actually lump Baron closer to Sjax and Monta's way of getting assists but Baron is just a superior player in all facets that he can rack up assists much easier. Curry is undoubtedly one of the best passers the Warriors have had in a long, long time. If they count assists like they do in hockey, Curry would be averaging probably close to 12 - 15.

Stephen Curry for ROY? I think he's got a chance even though it is Tyreke Evans so far. If Steph can add a few more triple doubles and become a more consistent shooter and distributor, then he can get it. The Yahoo guys talk about how the top rookie careers will turn out in this video and who will be best. Steph Curry All-Star? I dunno. We can only dream. But I think Monta will make it one year (even though I'm being a homer). Also, nice to hear Larry Ellison being mentioned .
