<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Instead of tallying which teams the Nuggets are fighting to acquire perimeter help, it might be faster to count which teams they aren't.

Agents of several shooting guards and swingmen - all of whose clients have yet to make their first All-Star Game - make it sound like NBA general managers are lining up around the block to talk to them.

"It seems like everybody in the league has interest," Mark Bartelstein, agent for Los Angeles Clippers small forward Bobby Simmons, said Saturday.

He estimated 15 to 20 teams contacted him in free agency's first two days, including the Nuggets more than once. Andy Miller called Denver a legitimate contender among the nine teams lining up for the services of his client, Sacramento's Cuttino Mobley. Agent Tony Dutt said Denver was not one of the nine teams to call about his client, Seattle free-agent combo guard Antonio Daniels.

"There's a lot of competition out there," Denver general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said, pointing to teams' desire to speed up the game. "Outside shooting and 3-pointers have become a big deal. Shooting forwards, all that's important."

Vandeweghe said Saturday afternoon his team had no visits set up, and guessed little would happen among most free-agent swingmen until most of the biggest names - Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Larry Hughes and Joe Johnson - know their destinations. </div>

Cuttino Mobley would be a great fit in Denver, his ability to run the floor and knock down the jumpers would be greatly utilized with The Nuggets Franchise. However signing Mobley would likely put them at the salary cap and I do believe there's still a few holes that should be addressed on that roster.
