Oct 31 - NBA commissioner David Stern continued to spit on the Knicks franchise during a TV interview aired yesterday, questioning the intelligence of owner James Dolan.

Referring to the Knicks' massive loss in federal court on sexual harassment charges, Stern said on ESPN, "It demonstrated they're not a model of intelligent management. There were many checkpoints along the way where decisive action would've eliminated this issue."

The Knicks quickly released a statement from Dolan which implied that it's time for the commissioner to move on. The Knicks seem disappointed Stern won't let go, especially because he could be hurting their appeal. -- New York Post

[*]"We have high regard for the commissioner," Dolan said. "Right now, what we can all agree on is that the best thing for the Knicks is to get on the court and win some basketball games." -- New York Times
