I think Francis has learned his lesson and is a new player now. I think he can be pretty good for Houston, but will need to dig out his ancient PG skills to start there. Defiently can help them.
The article also says the Rockets are not interested in signing him because of the harsh words he had for JVG when he was traded. However if we throw that out the window, I think he could be a very good fit in Houston next to McGrady and Yao, but only if he looks to pass and set-up those guys first instead of scoring first. I think Houston would benefit more from a Chauncey Billups type player - somebody who can defend well, run the team, distribute the ball, and consistently hit the three-point shot.
I think he could help us improve the PG position, my only concern if he did come to H-Town though is whether he would just be taking meaningful minutes and opportunities from other guys.
The Rockets would be scary for the Mavs and Spurs if they were to resign Francis, and he learned to pass the ball and run the team before scoring first.
I think this would be a bad move for Houston if they did pick him up. Do you guys really think Tmac and Francis could mesh together? Would Francis' ego get in the way of things? I don't know, you tell me.

I dont think that it would work out. When Francis left Houston in the first place, he left bitter and with harsh words for his former coach. Now, he is doing well in New York after Crawford went down, and I think he has a good thing going there. He is starting to regain his game that seemed to be lost.
Well, he's still badmouthing the Knicks while he's playing for them... he needs to be careful though. His reputation has already taken a huge hit because of what he pulled upon being traded from Houston, with what he did in Orlando, and of course his recent experiences with the Knicks. I don't think he'll be out of the NBA, but if he really wants some money and to revive his career, I think he needs to be on his best behavior.
Houston would be morons to sign Francis. Francis still has something left in the tank though. All this year he's been faking an injury and not playing at nearly 100% because he only got like 20 mins a game. He supposibly is "bothered" by knee tendinitous but can still dunk without a problem. Now with Crawford out he's starting to play hard. 18ppg since the Crawford injury.
