Nov 12 - After his first seven games as Suns' general manager over 10 eventful days, Steve Kerr found that the warnings he received about the extreme emotions of being a GM were dead on.

Kerr said he went from "very depressed" after Wednesday's loss at Atlanta to "really excited" about how the team closed a 3-1 road trip with two high-energy performances amid some health problems.

"The trick is to not get too happy or down, but it's hard," said Kerr, who text messages with his fellow Suns executives during games. "I'm enjoying that (emotional) part.
