No, Steve Nash would not represent our PG of the futue, but trading Bayless and Outlaw to the Suns for Nash might get us a championship ring in 2010 or 2011.

    Any takers on Nash?

    Nash/Blake/Mills at PG
    Roy/Rudy
    Turk/Batum/Webster
    LMA/Pendergraph
    Oden/Pryz

We can't. We'd have to give up Blake, Outlaw and Bayless, and even then I think we fall short in making the salaries match.

Nash is out of reach I believe. It's either Hinrich or Miller IMO.

Is Sessions or Harris out of reach in sending Outlaw and Bayless?

I'm just not a huge fan of Hinrich or Miller.

    Nash=chance for title in 2010/2011
Harris or Sessions = chance in 2012 and beyond

We could work around a package of Outlaw/Bayless to get Sessions, but it would take more to get Harris.

Salaries would match up, as we'd be now at the salary cap I presume, but if I'm MIL or NJN, I want more, a lot more.

It's Hinrich or nothing. Sessions can't shoot - an imperative at the guard spot now we have Turk - and the Bucks aren't likely to sign-and-trade. They'll sign or let go. They're dirt poor.
Miller needs the ball and can't shoot from outside, and only works with a running team. He would make a terrible fit for the team now we have Turk.
And Harris is, like Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo and yes, even Ricky Rubio, a pipe dream.

I'm sorry but have you lost your mind? We give up the future and shoot our wad for a chance a slim chance at a title with Steve Nash?

Sure trade Blake, Outlaw and Rudy for Nash but trading Bayless is long term suicide. If you don't believe in Bayless work out a trade for Sessions, Conley or Harris but for god sake lets not go the Boston one and done route!

We honestly don't really need a PG that can shoot, imo. Well, it would be nice, but I think that with the addition of another shooter in our starting lineup, someone that can rack up 20 assists a game will fit in as good, if not better than a shooter. And at like 22 years old, Ramon is the man.

And I'm also against Steve Nash.

They're not a win-now team. We are. They don't need Przybilla. They won't want Webster's foot and his contract. They wouldn't want to let go of Lopez.

It's just not a smart move for them, nor for us, considering we lose Przybilla, who we'll need for this run to a championship, at least now.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Can you explain what you mean by this? I understand valuing shooting from the point guard spot, but why does adding Turkoglu make shooting at the point guard position an "imperative?" If Portland had added a starting small forward that couldn't shoot, I'd understand...the team can't punt shooting at too many positions. But Turkoglu has been a fairly strong shooter through his career, so it seems to allow more leeway in terms of what caliber of shooter the team needs at point guard.
