I just noticed he's averaging only 7.4 assists. Pretty big dive from last season, where he averaged 11.1.

I haven't seen any Suns games this season, so if someone could enlighten me as to why his numbers dropped; I would appreciate it. Age catching up to him? Different offense?

    Offense probably the biggest thing.

    Fast-break offense = easy assists.

Steve Nash is a system PG...hence why he put up huge numbers under D'Antoni. Put him in a fastbreak style offense, and he'll thrive. Force him to play halfcourt...and...well, now you see what happens.
