All Pro WR Steve Smith was carted off the field during the 2nd practice of the first day of practices with a hamstring injury.

I read the title thread and thought "Ah crap!" I'm glad to hear its only a hammy and Smith has full recovery.

After all, we need as many U of Utah players representing as possible. Besides, we can't have the highlights just full of Chad Johnson's hijinx can we?

I like steve smith even though he singlehandedly eliminated the bears from playoffs. He was part of my WR tandem of smith and moss last year that won me the Mod league title!

I just hope its not torn because they would really screw the panthers. I think if him or Jake Delhomme our chances at the SB are out the door. Im pretty sure its only gonna leave him out for a couple days.

Hopefully it's not 2004 all over again. I still remember that ugly incident on that opening night against the Pack. Cats never seemed to get over it

I wouldnt mind Lelie because he is a huge deep threat. Panthers also have Drew Carter who is faster than steve smith in straight ahead speed, but drops lots of balls. Steve Smith is only gonna be out 4-5 days

Drew Carter is the best receiver on the panthers roster, without a shadow of a doubt, IM definatly not an illogical Biased Buckeye fan [IMG]
