Would you like to see more of Steven Hunter? I use to post in the ESPN Forums and I just checked back there and the guys over there are begging for more playing time out of Steven Hunter.

I think we should be using Hunter more, 7'1" he could be used against a top post player when Amare is out of the game. I think our coaches should really be trying to improve on Hunter's shotblocking ability (1.23 blocks per game).

When it comes playoff time it would be nice to see Hunter come off the bench when Amare gets in foul trouble or he is tired and see Hunter block some shots as well as pull down some boards.

Hunter should get about 15-20 minutes per game and it would be nice to see how he reacts to it. What are your thoughts on Steven Hunter?

I remember watching him as a Magic though I missed him when he was traded, because he was a body to toss at people. I will say it now that Hunter is never going to live up to the hype he had coming into the NBA, because of his size, and promise. I think he can become a decent role player, but I do not see him being a dominate shot blocker, or the Suns answer at center. I think that you can try and develope him, but he is to inconsistant, and would not be ready to be a force by playoff time it will take at least two seasons before I think he would be ready. Just my opinion though.

Hunter is a decent player, but he seems to be immature and he doesnt no how to handle his talent. Once he gets the oppurtunity to play, and once he plays for a couple of seasons, he may be a good center one day.

I think that Steven Hunter could be a good center, he needs tto use his quickness and speed to his advantage though, he can block shots now he needs to work his post game and become a force on the boards. IF Steven Hunter can manage to do that sometime in the next 3-4 years he could be a good NBA center one day.
