No problems what so ever with Steven Jackson, I honeslty think he's going to have an incredible season as starting running back. Chances are he may even lead us to the playoffs with the speed and strength this boy has. But the main question here is will he have the same effect Faulk had at Edward Jones Dome and around the NFL in possibly one season or will it take time to build up the hyp that Faulk had or sorry still has?

I did a little research on this guy, at his NFL player page, and he looks pretty good. He is big, and strong [6'2" and 231 LBS.] so he should be the type of guy who can muscle some extra yards out at the end, the tough yards. He did solid last year, and he can only get better if he stays healthy. He should do pretty well, he has a lot of potential as he is very young still.

Steven Jackson will bring more power and inside running and less pass receiving and outside running. In some ways, Faulk is like a fourth wideout and really creates mismatches on LB's. Jackson doesn't do that... I think M. Faulk, and Steven Jackson are two completely different players. Like I said, Marshall brings more of a pass oriented run game, whereas Jackson will bring more of a classic L.A. Rams type of style. I prefer the later...It will be fun to watch this guy progress over his career.

I think Jackson is the second coming or Ricky Williams(Before his "incident.") His is an explosive back and a very physical one at that. He is going to help lead the Rams this year because he has the starting role and if he plays all 16 games, he is going to be a hard back to stop.

I'm glad to see that you guys have confidence in this guy as much as I do. What makes Steven so well to do in St. Louis is that Faulk has given him, the last time i read on the St. Louis site, Faulk has given him the utmost respect and that yeah, he will be what the Rams need for going straight through the middle. Also it'll be good to see a play with both Jackson and Faulk in it because who are the safety's and MLB's going to pay more attention to?I'm a huge St. Louis fan from all the way in Australia and I have to add both these guys are good to use in Madden [IMG] . I just hope we make a much bigger impact then goin into the playoffs at 8-8.

I just went to the Rams at Charger Game and watching Steven JAckson in Person is amazing. Marshall is a tripple threat. Can block well can catch well and can run well. Steven is the future and we just have to face it. I m a rams fan and i wouldnt ask for any other running back.
