At the same time, Stevenson knows he wants to be in the District next season.

"I want to come back," said Stevenson, who late last summer signed a one-year contract with a player option for a second. "We've got a good veteran team. We've got a coach who is a players' coach. I feel this is a good situation."</div>

The Wizards will be competing for the Southeast division lead for a while now as long as the big 3 is here, so there's no way Stevenson's value can go down. He's helped us get the lead in the Southeast, something we couldn't get with Hayes starting at the 2.

Deshawn would get a better contract somewhere else. Washington should try to keep him there though, he's a great guard and a solid player (sixth man?). I'd like to see him stay in a Wiz uniform, personally. But this a business too, not just a sport so it's exciting to see what he will do in the off-season.
