Stevenson was scheduled to earn just more than $1 million in the second year of the two-year contract he signed with the team last summer. The free agency period opens July 1</div>

I'd love to see Stevenson come back to Washington with us. He's easily our best perimeter defender, he doesn't whine about his role on the team, he can create his own shot from time to time. Even though he struggled in the playoffs, he simply plays a lot better with the big 3 healthy.

I don't expect Nick Young to start immediately, but play that back-up role until his time is right. Until then, I want to see Ernie Grunfeld make him stay.

Idk Stevenson could easily get offered way more than 1 million by another team. I mean Stevenson last season passed up on a 9 million offer by the Magic.

He's a very good fit for the Wizards, dont get me wrong, im just sayin don't be suprised if someone offers him a s.hitload of money. Which could sway him to leave, especially now that he'll have to compete with Nick Young.

The Magic offer was $9 million for 3 years, not $9 million/year. Of course Washington isn't expecting to re-sign him for $1 million/year, but nothing over $4 million/year in my opinion.

yeah i know it was 9 million/3 years.
Im just sayin hes a good player, and if hes lookin to make money i think he could easily get more from another team, so the Wizards should do some hard convincing. If he's looking to be a succeful player and win, i say stay with Wizards. Just depends on how much money he wants to make. i felt he meshed well with Gilbert and the rest of the team.
