With Shaun Alexander out for the next few weeks...are they seahawks still the same team or close to it as they were for the first three weeks?

I think that they are still one of the best teams in the NFC but they will have some struggles with alexander out

Morris is a pretty decent back, he's no SA but he should be enough to get the job done, I woulden't be suprised if they signed another Veteran FA Back.

Since they have to play Chicago, I think we will see a different team. The question is really how much this will affect their mentality going into the game.

Can the Seahawks win without SA? Absolutely...

Pisses me off that he is hurt. Now the bears cant win. If we blow out seahawks, i will get "Well, SA was out"

I'm thinking it will hurt them too much to win in Chicago's house. I think both teams need everyone healthy for this game and SA is not healthy. I think Chicago will upset them.

Can I make my bold guarantees now?

Bold Guarantee - With a healthy SA, the Bears would definitely lose at this point in the season.

There is no denying that statement...thus it has to be true.

Maybe so, but if you lose then we get to rag on you harder than the DWO when the Steelers were w/o Big Ben.

Alexander has been injured all season so the Seahawks should be fine without him, though I think the Bears will win (as I think they would with SA). I actually think they may be better off without him against the Bears, because I don't think they will have a running game, and Morris is a better reciever.

I deny it, without fact of course, but deny it all the same, thus it must be false [IMG]

They will lose to the Bears Sunday but make no mistake they'll be very good without SA. Your going to see an offense that is very similar to the 96 Packer offense which helped propel Green Bay to a Super Bowl victory. Morris is a perfect fit for Holmgrem's system and the WR's there are probably the best Holmgrem has had since Freeman and Brooks.

Win or lose, this will be good for Seattle. I think their offense will come out of it very balanced. Based on their division, they have a few games to spare if they need them anyway.

they are looking really good, i'm not sure if losing Alexander will do a lot but he was the MVP so you've gotta think it does. He hasnt really been too effective so far this season anyway. Bears are gonna be tough especially when you are an offense only relying on the passing attack vs their type of defense. We'll see though

Seattle will be ok.. They will only miss Alexanders leadership SA has yet to surpass the 100 yard mark this season and only 2 Td's Alexander or no alexander this is the same team The giants saw and lions and i forget who else they played.. Alexander hasn't been much of an in game factor for the 3 weeks he played so its really no different now.. BTW it will be 1 hell of a show down and bias ol me Bears win

Alexander reportedly told the Hawks he was healed through the power of prayer. lol X-rays still prove otherwise & he's still out for this Sunday's game in Chicago.

I think this game is going to decide who gets home field advantage in the playoffs. Who ever wins will be 4-0 and have the tie breaker over the other. Both teams are good and play in horrible divisions so it would be tough for anyone from the East or South to get a better record. This could be the NFC game of the year when looked at that way.

With the Bears great defense and the Seahawks great offense being the focus, could it be the other matchup of the Bears improving offense vs. the Seahawks improving defense that decides the game?

To me, it is pretty obvious the seahawks just arent on the bears level anymore. Bears passed them and left them so far behind in offseason that seahawks arent really a legit contender anymore. Bears win this one easy. Bears 21 Seahags 3

You're so off it's ridiculous. I've got news for you. The Hawks D is not that far behind your beloved Bears D. This game comes down to the QBs & IMO Hasselbeck is poised enough to handle the hostile environment at Soldiers Field. Hawks 20 Bears 13
