Stojakovic, who sat out Tuesday's loss with a sore right knee, didn't practice Wednesday. The best-of-seven series is tied 1-1.
"It feels better because I didn't do anything (Wednesday)," Stojakovic said. "I'm hoping I'll be able to play. We'll see."
Stojakovic injured his knee against the Detroit Pistons on April 9. He didn't miss any games, however, and scored 12 points in the Pacers' Game 1 victory. The Pacers announced about an hour before Game 2 that he wouldn't play.
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Stojakovic will start if he plays, but there's a question how much he can contribute, especially defensively, because he would be assigned to guard New Jersey's Richard Jefferson.</div>
