Disgraced Australian National Rugby League club Melbourne Storm shrugged off their damaging salary cap scandal to record another commanding win on Saturday. The Storm thrashed the North Queensland Cowboys 34-6 in Townsville, but will stay on the bottom of the NRL standings with zero points as punishment for breaking salary cap rules. It was Storm's second match since they were stripped of two premierships, lost the right win points this year and were fined 1.6 million dollars (1.4 million US). The NRL cracked down heavily on the Storm after uncovering systematic cheating of the salary cap to the tune of 1.7 million Australian dollars over five years. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gwOzVganxjzyfa7nzI2l8BNDdh4Q
