<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ATLANTA (AP) -- Memphis Grizzlies guard Damon Stoudamire was held out of Saturday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks with an ankle injury. Stoudamire turned his left ankle during Memphis' loss at Cleveland on Friday night, but was able to continue playing. The injury was not believed to be serious, and he was not listed on the pregame injury report. Stoudamire had more discomfort before the game, prompting the late lineup change. Bobby Jackson made his first start of the season replacing Stoudamire. Stoudamire, an 11-year pro, is averaging 8.5 points and 4.5 assists. The injury prevented Stoudamire from playing against his cousin, Hawks rookie backup gaurd Salim Stoudamire, who also went to Arizona, for the first time.</div> Source
Weird, I never knew Damon Stoudamire was a cousin of Salim Stoudamire. I think they are like 10 years apart maybe? Anyway the game versus Atlanta was disappointing, if only Atlanta got the rebound off Mike Miller's shot or if only Zaza Pachuila made those free throws, we (Atlanta) would have won...but no. Josh Childress is also having a disappointing season so far, and I thought the Joshes were the next dynamic duo. The Hawks have like what, a record of 0-6? And I thought the Hornets were going to have the worst season ever...

Anyway, you can't just use excuses like "if only Atlanta got the rebound", because it wasn't just the last second that mattered. I thought the Hawks just did all that they could in the fourth quarter, especially considering they were were down a considerable margin (about eight or so) heading into it.
Hopefully it's only a minor injury, although it was nice to see Antonio Burks given a little court time for a change.
