<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Celtic boss Gordon Strachan was beaming with pride for his players, despite seeing the Bhoys knocked out of the Champions League after extra-time against AC Milan. A Kaka strike in the first period of extra-time in the San Siro proved to be the only goal of the tie, with Strachan delighted with the efforts of his players over the two games. He said: "It has been a fantastic evening. "A great atmosphere, a great stadium, two teams on the pitch, one with more technique and the other one with an incredible heart and determination. "I told my players that, if there was a trophy for determination and heart, we would have a chance of winning that. "I think my players should be praised for what they have done. "If we can improve our technique, we can really go into places like this one and enjoy ourselves. "I have young players and this has been a fantastic experience for them." </div> Source - Premiership, Premier League, Coca Cola Championship, football news, fixtures, results 4thegame I agree with Strachan I mean we had alot of young and unexpieranced players fieled against Milan and it took them until Extra Time to score against us. I am very proud of Celtic to be honest I was staying positive in front of everyone but deep down I thought it was going to be 3 or 4 nil to AC Milan. I have to say if someone deserved to go through into the quarter finals it was Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc he kept us in it. The Kaka goal was really good, McManus did everything right Boruc was out early but I guess it wasnt to be. Celtic will be back BIGGER AND BETTER.
