I usually LOVE draft time. But this year I just can't get excited because I have the sinking feeling we're going to fuck it up like we did with the Chris Paul draft.

I’d rather them just make the pick than make a meh trade with the #3 pick. The latter is what I’m most worried about. And up until Friday I was pretty sure Toronto was out of the mix. If we do anything with them it’s bad news—never deal with a bad faith negotiator…

Nothing strange about being depressed that the Blazers will fuck something up. You have history on your side

And yet hope remains a powerful force that keeps us all coming back for more.

    The thing is this

1/2 of this forum will be depressed if Dame is traded and 1/2 of this forum will be depressed if we build around him because of his age….unless we land a young star

So a lot of people will hate this off-season

And I think 100% of us are tired of seeing inaction.

Even though the Sun's potentially screwed themselves over.

The constant Dame banter is what's most annoying. And his mouthpiece in Haynes is who is driving it.

It's funny that Jones is so self-unaware when he chides people for getting in their feels.

Because it is time to choose and every choice eliminates possibilities.

That they do. and honestly, they need more role players and less "I need the ball" players. I suspect they're trying their best to trade Ayton asap, otherwise they're pretty much stuck with him.

I enjoy Jones, and I enjoy Frentress and I enjoy Dwight...until they get into their character mode. When they do that, they stick to their guns or act smug or are just crotchety old farts.

    Simons, Little and Johnson
    For
    Ayton and a pick

    Then 3 for Siakam

    That helps Phoenix
    That helps Toronto
That helps the build around Dame crowd
That helps the trade Dame crowd say “I told you so”

If you’re keeping score at home, that’s a win, win, win , win scenario

Jones isn't media but he certainly acts like it. But he has to understand that if there isn't a tweet from Haynes every other day about Dame trades, or Dame himself isn't out on a random podcast acknowledging other teams he'd like to play for, people would be geneally excited instead of tense and depressed.

Like, come on. Dude signed a supermax extension less than a yr ago and is on lock for 5 more years. If you wanted to act like a free agent, don't sign the extension. Sit back and let Cronin do his job. I'm certainly no Joe fan, but I feel like his work is getting unfairly scrutinized because of Dame and his mouthpieces.

This guy is the miami shill who reported they were going to add both Dame AND Beal. Not credible.

A motto I try to live by is that it makes no sense to be depressed or upset about things that are out of my control. Not saying it will work for everyone, but it really makes my life a lot easier to live. Shit is going to happen. It's a statistical fact. I stress about the shit I can plan for, I do not about stuff I can't control.

That will be $300, please update the front desk if you need to reschedule your next appointment.
