    My vote goes to Thompson vs. Melendez which was about 23 or 24 minutes of great action with both fighters oscillating between brawling and technical thrust-and-parry.

    tough call, THompson vs Melendez was good, but felt like a boxing match a lot of the time.

    Fedor vs Rodgers had that stir about it, I mean it's Fedor for crying out loud!!

    and my write in vote would be the Shamrock vs Diaz press conference where Shamrock went to shake hands and Diaz gave him the stone cold salute... priceless.

    Diaz is by far one of my favourite fighters and he had some great performances this year. I think he's really coming into his own right now. The Whitemare is going to get choked out!
