Strikeforce to keep hexagon cage, adopt unified rules of MMA (elbows)

    Strikeforce stars won't be fighting in The Octagon but they will be allowed to use elbows on the ground, according to Lorenzo Fertitta. Just to keep things organized Zuffa has instructed Strikeforce to adopt the unified rules of MMA. Strikeforce had previously banned elbows to grounded opponents.
