The Blazers are down Jusuf Nurkic (fractured wrist, 8 weeks) and CJ McCollum (fractured ankle, 4 weeks). They haven't played since last Monday. That is almost a week off, due to two games vs Memphis being postponed (a blessing in disquise?).

The Blazers without Nurkic and CJ were destroyed by the Spurs. They are 0-1 in games where neither played this season. They have to find a way forward to keep the boat afloat in a demanding western conference. They have perhaps slipped from a team vying for HCA to a team scraping the dredges of the conference to make the play-in.
