The Blazers ended the first half of the season on a 3 game winning streak. They have won 9 of their last 13 games. They sit at 21-14 in 5th place in the west. They've done it mostly without CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, and Zach Collins. They have been shorthanded in the front court without Harry Giles to boot. They have faced a litany of other injuries. They have shown resilience and fight. Lillard will be in in the All star game as a reserve. Rober Covington will take part in the Skills contest. Anfernee Simons will get to showcase his abilities in the slam dunk contest. CJ and Nurkic are soon to be back. It's not such a bad time to be a Blazer.

I hope to get back to catching up with your podcast....I'm pretty happy with the state of the Blazers...I was going to ask Eric how life in the NW was working out for his family after the move and also if he's still unable to watch live games for work reasons? I seemed to remember that early in the season. Hoodie and Collins are the most likely pieces to get moved if any do...some articles think we should swap Collins' with the Hawks. Zach for Jon? What position would we target if we made a trade? Dame said the world is going to look on Ant differently after the dunk contest and that Ant is the second most explosive guy he's ever seen in the NBA...who do you think is the most explosive guy in the league Dame's referring to?
