Aside from having more stoners than anyother franchise ever, Your Dallas Cowboys will line up... Vinny Testerverde-DONE Eddie George-DONE Keyshaun-CANCER An old line I'd expect the most frustrating season from the boys, a killer D with a dinosaur offense.

I hadn't seen anyone that thought Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick were the franchise saviors so much as you Missle. Maybe the Pats will be lucky enough to pick up Carter to back up Brady. Eddie George is not considered to be the go-to guy in Dallas, so don't assume the team rests on his performance. Word is that Henson has been the best QB in camp....good or bad. Keyshawn may be a cancer...we'll see. Old line? Do you know anything about the Cowboys line? If anything, it is too young. Allen is getting old, although he is in better shape this offseason that he has been in a long time. Besides him, you have Flozell Azams who is in his 20s yet and went to a deserved pro bowl last year. The other three positions will be filled by people who have less than 4 years experience, possibly a rookie or two. For me...hats off to Parcells on this one.
Cowboy You must know that your team is just not going to get it done this year. Infact, all they did was take a step back in the offseason. There is no guarantee that Drew Hanson can play, remember Chad Hutchinson, where is he now??? I just dont understand what they are trying to do. This team is abvously building for the future, which is nice. But by the time the future comes, the outstanding defense they have will have been left in the past. Also, how many more years do you think Parcells wants to coach?? I just dont understand their offseason philosophy. They went from an up-and-coming team, to a team that will struggle to stay .500, I guess we'll see.
Hutchinson is a backup in Europe E4, what were the cowboys to do? they didnt have anything offensive to do anyway, IMO they did the best they could except release carter, that wwas a bad move and PM, you forgot a kid that got kicked out of NotRe Dame

We disagree on how good Carter was/is and I guess that is where we leave it. He has been in the league long enough that he should be much more consistent on the 10-20 yard throws. I watched every single play last year, and while he made some great plays, he also was a drive killer with too many misthrows. To answer your question, it is clear that the Cowboys are trying to win with the philosophy that you can't have a filet mignon at every position. Look at the teams that have won the Superbowl over the last several years and you will see many teams that took a risk on a low priced or average QB. Warner, Brady, Dilfer....not exactly your #1 overall picks. That is exactly why Jones tried to take a chance with Carter. Obviously, it didn't work to their liking. But they didn't want to make a one-time shot at the title only to live in salary cap hell for years to come. Why haven't the Eagles had a big time receiver or big time RB (OK, until this year with Owens) ? They've had the cap. Because they are smart enough to know that it would lock up too many resources for their options. We'll see how Owens works for them. Like I said, I have no illusions that Dallas is the team to beat...far from it. If you pay attention, though, the Cowboys that are on the field this year will be better than last years team. Their defense and offense are both more talented. We will see whether their record reflects that though.
YOU know what i have a brother he likes cowboys and as you know i like eagles you could imagine how hard itt is living wioth him and when dallas signed george he rubed it in my face but i have no problem with dallas having a beat up old man
