I'm not really the type to know what is hot in music right now or even to have a particular taste in music genres. That being the case, I do want to get into music more and i was wondering if you could give me suggestions. Songs for parties? Songs for just chilling in the dorm? Love songs? What's hot today? Other? I realize that everyone has different tastes so the more input the better.

I wasn't a big hip-hop fan until a little over a year ago when I first heard "Respiration" by Black Star. I've been hooked on the genre ever since.
