Some news about 76ers summer camp Comcast Sportsnet has reported that Steven Smith has been contacted by several NBA teams offering him a spot on their summer league roster, including the 76ers. Smith s expected to make his choice within the next two days. I would love to see Smith come to Philly, let me rephrase stay in Philly. He is a versatile athletic big man that would further add depth to our front court as well as another hard worker.

I would love to see Smith signed by us too. Maybe the fact that we`re the hometown team and we are intrested in him may be a turnon to him.

    Update On Smith

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Sixers are one of numerous teams that have contacted Steve Mountain, agent for former La Salle standout forward Steve Smith. The Sixers would like to at least get Smith, who went undrafted Wednesday, added to their summer league roster. ?It would be great (to play for the Sixers), but I don't even know (what the chances are),? said Smith yesterday. ?I'm actually in the middle of finalizing it.?</div>

Sounds like he is signing to our summer league team, I think he can make the team as well, I mean if Shav can make it why can't Smith?
