    (July 3, 2003) TORONTO - The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday the team?s player roster for the Summer Pro League in California. The 34-year-old League runs July 6-20 at the Pyramid, located on the campus of Long Beach State University.

    The League features nine NBA summer league entries, the Canadian National Team and numerous free-agent squads.

    The Raptors will be sending 17 players to Long Beach including current roster players Lamond Murray and Chris Jefferies. Other notables include Raptors 2003 draft picks Chris Bosh (fourth overall) and Remon Van de Hare (52nd overall), as well as Matt Bonner (45th overall, acquired in a draft day deal with Chicago), 2000 second-round draft pick DeeAndre Hulett, and free agents Maceo Baston, Mamadou N?diaye and Mateen Cleaves.

    Toronto will play the first of its six games Tuesday, July 8 against the Dallas Mavericks.

    I?m surprised to see Remon van de Hare on their Summer League Roster... everybody was saying he?s a stiff who will never play in the NBA... but by including him on their roster the Raptors seem to be pretty serious about him...
    He will see some playing time I think, because he?s by far the tallest player on their team... I hope he will surprise some people! [​IMG]
