So far it's at halftime and JJ Redick is lights out with 18 of the Magic's 43 points. Marcin Gortat is 2nd on the team with 8. Magic are tied 43-43. I just turned on the webcast, which is located Here . Just click watch live on the right side if you wanted to watch.
It looks like the Magic are really trying to pound it downlow to Marcin Gortat and James Augustine to start the 3rd quarter. Gortat has traveled a couple of times, then got goaltended(no call), while Augustine has 4 quick points to get 8 total. Kevin Kruger looks pretty good too running the offense. He hasn't had many shots and has only hit 1 3. They haven't really ran many plays for JJ since I have been watching.
JJ looked great with 24 points 8 FT's and 4/6 from 3 point land. Augustine looked pretty good on offense. Gortat was very active on the glass and on the defensive end. He hit 6 FT's and I believe he had 10 points and over 10 boards. He is EXTREMELY raw offensively. He had a couple of nice moves, but either fumbled them away or missed the shot. Steven Smith has a nice jump shot, hitting a couple tough shots. I believe he was our 2nd leading scorer with 13. Kruger was very impressive, IMO. He was one of the most impressive running the offense and hitting the jump shots. If we don't retain Diener, I certainly wouldn't mind picking up Kruger for the same role.
I didn't see too much but I saw a jumper from Redick and then he did this circus-like layup, it was cool. I remember being disappointed with the Redick pick at first but I can't wait to see him get some solid playing time next year. Gortat did good as well, I wouldn't mind seeing him coming off the bench this year.
30 points for JJ? I missed today's game but I can't wait to watch him play this year under Van Gundy. When's our next game Gators?

I've heard of Gortat a lot recently and last year. I think we should give him a shot on the actual roster.
