Link (NBA.com) They definatly earned it, with all players in their starting lineup on fire I don't see why not. Players are stepping up when they have to, for example last night both Marion and Amare had so-so nights, so Q goes for the Phoenix Suns record books for three pointers in a game. Hopefully the Suns keep this hot steak up until the playoffs so that they can show the league that a team that has a style of running the break can win.
Here is the starting lineup of the #1 team in the NBA

Steve Nash: 15.9 ppg, 10.9 apg, 3.3 rpg Joe Johnson: 15 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.2 apg Quentin Richardson: 15.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.9 apg Shawn Marion: 19.3 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 2.3 apg Amare Stoudemire: 25.6 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.4 apg

As much as a I hate them, The Spurs should be number 1 IMO. They not only beat the team with the best record in the NBA, they murdered them. The Suns are one of my fav teams, but the Spurs are the better team. They have had much tougher competition thus far than the Suns, and they still manage to have that record. I thought the blow out win against the Suns was the final factor to put the Spurs #1 on the Power rankings. It should be 1) Spurs 2) Suns 3) Heat Gotta wait for Sportsline and ESPN's Power rankings, those are better.
