What do you guys think about the Suns picking up Carlos Arroyo from the Pistons. He has a similar game play as Steve Nash. In Addition, the suns could try to pick up a big man to move Amare to 4 spot. I'm thinking either Antonio McDyess or Alonzo Mourning. We have a great bench player, Jackson. He's good the suns need to get rid of Richardson and add some defense in that spot. That way they won't be over the salary cap and can sign Joe again (or match any offer)

I think that picking up Carlos Arroyo would be an great idea. I mean Steve Nash isn't getting any younger, and I really do not think that Barbosa can get the job done. Getting Arroyo would give the Suns two quality PGs. I don't think the Suns need to pick up a big man in free agency. I think they will fill this spot in the draft. Either by getting Ike Diogu or the two high school centers.

Zo isn't going to leave Miami. He has a chance of getting a Ring next season, and will take it. He's a rich man and Miami could sign him for the league minimum, and he would accept.

Well Jackson is in his mid-30's so they need to get a younger bench, Arroyo is young and a good role-player but Arroyo is turnover prone and the SUns already have Barbosa who is also young and has potential to be pretty good.

I would much rather have Carlos Aroyo his future looks a lot better and he has a better vision of the court than Barbosa

Nope, thats a bad idea. I've watched arroyo play in these playoffs and i've havn't been very impressed. I do not like either antonio McDyess (screwed over the suns twice) or Alonzo (he's as bad as GP and Karl Malone...chasing a championship)

I would love to know how the Suns are going to get Carlos Arroyo and Antonio Mcdyess. The Suns have nothing to offer that the Pistons would want. Not like Dice is going anywhere, he is too important for the Pistons. The Suns only bench value is Jimmy Jackson and the last thing the Suns can afford to do is move their best bench player anyway.

Suns need to target Earl Watson and find another big who can defend a little.

Watson would allow Nash to get more rest and as he gets older will need to cut down his minutes. Watson is a 12 and 7 kind of player If he was given a chance somewhere.

if the suns could go out and sign someone like brevin knight and get a bruiser like jerome james. their bench will be much much improved and they have someone not afraid to make someone afraid to drive the lane. also instead of getting a crappy big man project with number 21 they should draft a pure pg like jarret jack if he is still on the board. trade barbosa, and voskuhl. let mccarty go. resign hunter, and keep outlaw. this would allow marion and amare to go back to their nat. pos. and i think q should come off the bench.
lineup would look somehting like this.
    pg-nash/jack/knight
    sg-jj/jjax/q
    sf-marion/jj/outlaw
    pf-amare/marion/outlaw
    c-hunter/james/amare
i did this as to who would get the msot playing time and where. maybe jack and knight would be flip flopped.

That's a good thought but the suns need to trade richardson so that they have money available for any type of movement.
