The Phoenix Suns took a small step back in 2014-15 after being one of the big surprise teams of 2013-14. It seemed like the team never recaptured the magic that it had last season after signing a glut of point guards in the offseason. That led to a pretty significant set of trades midseason, when the team dealt Goran Dragic to the Miami Heat, traded for Brandon Knight in a corresponding move to replace him, then moved on from the recently-signed Isaiah Thomas for a first round pick.
