The suns seem to have a thing for JJ's and Jones' specifically. I don't really know too much about this kid though, anyone got some info/opinions?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gametime?:</div><div class="quote_post">they don't need to be getting more shooters...</div> Totally agree. Enough with the shooters.
Their whole system revolves around Nash kicking it out to shooters, so why not? I like Jones, he's strong, athletic and isn't too shabby of a defender.
Not only is he a great pick up, but will challenge the starters and second string players. JJ is a great scrapy player. He hussles to remain on the floor. He shoots pretty well and rebounds great.

Jumaine Jones is nice, he's a good three point shooter, he's athletic, he can defend, a good rebounder, he fits nicely into what they try to do.
Well, According to this... He will be playing for the Suns. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Press Release - The Phoenix Suns announced today that they have signed free-agent forward Jumaine Jones to a one-year contract. A 6-8, 230-pound forward, Jones appeared in 76 games last season for the Charlotte Bobcats , scoring a career-best 10.5 points and grabbing 4.9 rebounds per game. In 42 games as a starter, he averaged 13.3 points and 5.7 rebounds, including a career-high 31 point (13-20 FG, 5-8 3FG) outburst versus the L.A. Lakers on February 3. On the year, he recorded eight 20-plus scoring nights and three double-doubles.</div> Source
Jumaine Jones is a solid player, and I wish Charlotte could've kept him. He's very versatile, and will fit in with Phoenix perfectly.

Great minds think alike. Anyway, I also forgot to add that it'll be interesting to see Jumaine Jones utilize his power foward skills for once... He was strictly a SF when he came into the league, but it looks like he fits perfectly for Phoenix's power foward position a la Shawn Marion.
JJ is one player I didnt want to Lakers to lose last off season. I was a bit upset when they let him go. Now he's going to the Suns!! GAH!!!!

I think he will fit well with the Suns, (not the best D, but can hit the 3), and will come at a nice price to replace Tim Thomas.
Another shooter? Suns are loading up with shooters and it looks like they will rely on the run and gun game which seems to work. I like the way suns keep on bringin in shooters.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheCh0sen0ne238:</div><div class="quote_post">he is a great role player..kind of like a xfactor in nba live</div> Is your opinion about him based on NBA Live? Lol, that's pretty funny.
