<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Suns plan to have 16 players on the McKale Center court when training camp opens in Tucson on Tuesday morning.

The roster is not official, because center Brian Skinner and non-guaranteed invitee Doug Thomas are due to arrive in Phoenix on Sunday to sign, and there is the lingering possibility of meeting forward Shawn Marion's trade request.

Though a Marion trade before Monday seems unlikely, the Suns expect their All-Star forward to show up on the mandatory reporting date. The Suns will have 13 guaranteed players, including Skinner's partially guaranteed deal, to meet the roster minimum.

Thomas, a 6-foot-8 forward from Iowa who played in Switzerland last year, and swingmen Richie Frahm and Rawle Marshall will play with no guaranteed money beyond October.

Frahm, a sharpshooter who left Gonzaga in 2000, and Marshall, a 6-7, two-year pro with a 7-1 wingspan, have NBA experience.</div></p>

They haven't made any moves to put them over Dallas or San Antone. Still the 3rd best team to me.</p>
