<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Suns' NBA draft workout Tuesday included unfulfilled talent (Arizona's Mustafa Shakur), unknown talent (Ukrainian giant Kyrylo Fesenko) and overshadowed talent (Florida's Chris Richard and Lee Humphrey).

There was not a candidate for the Suns' two first-round picks in the bunch, but there was interest, particularly in Richard.

Florida teammates Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer are all lottery picks, but maybe their talents just hid what Richard, 6 feet 9 and 252 pounds, can do.

"Chris played very well today," Suns Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin said. "He's a banger, athletic big. You're not Player of the Year in the state of Florida by accident. You're not as highly recruited as he was by accident. He's somebody who may project to be a little bit more than you think."

Richard, Amar? Stoudemire's former summer club teammate, said, "When I get into the workouts, a lot of the teams see that I can do a lot more than I have been doing with my team."

Even Humphrey, who likely will go undrafted, shot well enough for Griffin to call General Manager Steve Kerr and tell him, "I'm watching Steve Kerr Jr. right now."

The Suns also have interest in previous visitors. There is a strong chance that Phoenix will bring back Southern California point guard Gabe Pruitt and 19-year-old Finnish point guard Petteri Koponen for a second look.</div>

Good to see teams actually interested in Richard and Humphrey. Hopefully Phoenix takes a chance on one of them with their 2nd rounder.
